Two abstracts related to Desentum’s product development projects have been accepted for presentation at the annual congress of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) taking place in Istanbul, Türkiye, on Jun 12–15, 2026. The abstracts focus on the development of methods and models important for ensuring the quality and reliability of preclinical and clinical study results.
In a Flash Talk session, a humanized mouse model developed for peanut allergy will be presented. The model has been used in the preclinical validation of Desentum’s product candidate for immunotherapeutic treatment of peanut allergy.
In a poster session, the nasal allergen challenge used for assessing symptoms in the Phase II clinical study of the investigational birch pollen AIT product DM-101PX will be presented.
