The annual congress of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology will be in Helsinki in June 17-21. Desentum has presentations in two Oral Abstract Sessions.
Espoo, Finland, 14 June 2017 – One of the world’s biggest scientific meetings in the field of allergology and immunology, the EAACI 2017 Congress, is held in Helsinki in Jun 17-21.
EAACI, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, is an association including over 50 National Allergy Societies, more than 9 500 academicians, research investigators and clinicians, from 121 different countries.
Desentum will present in two Oral Abstract Sessions.
In OAS 3 on Sunday, June 18, Jaana Haka will present the recognition pattern of serum allergen-specific IgEs in Bet v 1 microarray.
In OAS 24 on Tuesday, June 20, Pekka Mattila will talk about the development of a novel class of rationally-designed hypoallergens, especially about a Bet v 1 variant for specific immunotherapy of birch pollen allergy.
Also, from a collaborative group in the University of Eastern Finland, Merja Niemi will present a poster about the utilization of ultrahigh-resolution native mass spectrometry in the analysis of allergens. Merja will be in Poster Discussion Session 9 on Sunday, June 18.
